Among the mist and moss of the Dandenong Ranges, where seasons shift dramatically, you’ll find Thistle & Weeds - a micro flower farm and studio that captures the pace of nature through the eyes and hands of its founder, Samantha Nelson.

Sam is both farmer and florist - a grower of blooms and teller of stories. Each arrangement begins in her own soil, where she plants, tends and harvests every stem by hand. The result is floral work that feels deeply personal and instinctively tied to place and time; shaped by the seasons and by a love of what grows on her farm.

Her flowers are not simply arrangements - they are fleeting expressions of the landscape itself. Dahlias, cosmos, zinnias, and roses, gathered in loose, nostalgic inspired bunches. Not a stiff factory flower in sight…
