The Hills are calling … This is not your average Greengrocer!
Edit 16. Carter Brothers, Monbulk.
Unlike your average fruit and veg shop, brothers BJ and Josh bring a whole new edge to greengrocer shopping. Their motto is “just have fun with it” and that is exactly how they run their business. Established in 2017, the brothers have welcomed customers into their store with big smiles, pumping music, and genuine customer service. It is no surprise that they’ve been voted Melbourne’s Best Greengrocer by the Herald Sun - everyone who walks through the door leaves having had a great shopping experience.
With fresh ideas and a playful approach, the brothers are shaking up the greengrocer scene, from the giant gorilla mural at the entrance, to the Wheel of Fortune you can spin if you spend $50 or more, your shopping experience is anything but ordinary. But, above all, the customer service is always exceptional - delivered with a smile and genuine conversation.
When asked what she likes about her job, employee Jess explains “It’s just so fun, I don’t hate coming to my job. I love it. I started working here at the end of 2020, just one day a week but I loved it so much, two years later I moved to full time”.
For the most part products are seasonal and Australian sourced with many local hill’s favourites on display. At this time of the year you’ll find berries, chestnuts, quince and apples all sourced from surrounding growers.
